Future

Shadowing Adina was such a significant opportunity. With all of her help and answers to any questions I had I decided to continue with medical field. I really appreciate the work nurses do because it is not an easy job. Through this shadowing experience I decided I want to become a doctor. I would like to work with the patients and also help them with a certain health problem I will focus on as I become a doctor. Another important thing is prescribing medication to patients. I would like to help people and heal them because that matters to me a lot. Since my grandfather passed away from lung cancer and I was able to take care of him, I experienced how much work people need to put in while taking care of someone. I was also really devastated when he passed away so seeing other families be happy when I tell them that someone is healthy would be the best feeling I could ask for.
